WOW! hang in there LT. Believe it or not we are missing you here in the “Empire". Take care and maintain that positive attitude.
P.S. Thanks for being there when so many would’nt or could’nt
Diana, thanks for putting life into perspective for all of us. I am enjoying your story, and have thought about printing it off to share with friends. Would that be ok with you, or would you rather I not?
Love you much, “Daughter” dear!
Hey, Rick! I thought the “Empire” was JW’s domain. I wasn’t aware it extended to the collective. Glad y’all are enjoying my escapades. Living in Iraq vicariously through me. What a concept.
Aunt B’Ann, go ahead if you like. If possible, just give them the url. However, I have no plans to publish. There’s really no plot to speak of. Down home chick goes to Iraq. Comes back. Makes jokes. Sure…share as you like.

I’ve got a good cartoon that’s relevant to your story which I should mail to you some time. It’s funny. I had similar talks with an AF Reservist once who was a former Marine. He’d say he took the wrong door when he went to the recruiters’ offices! :)
LT, glad to see you are enjoying yourself over there and living the lap of luxury…haha.
I may start my own blog when I get home because as I hear it from where I’m going, I’ll be pretty busy over there. I’ll be working with a bunch of Army guys, and living in a tent, hoping it will be a/c controlled…you know how spoiled I am. haha. Hope you are getting your 5 miles a day out there. See you soon!

What a reality check! I’m so glad you’re writing these. There’s a lot we out here never experience (don’t want to) but appreciate knowing about. Hang in there Diana!
yeah i was there feb04 thru may04…..actually it wasn’t too bad at all…..well besides all the rockets and mortars we took on a daily basis
and the tent that got smashed by one!! Hang in there if yer not gone already!
