Yish indeed, nigh upon two full hours. Beats every single one of the 100 or so I’ve been through since June. I don’t think I’ve ever had to pee so bad in my entire life….

Hey LT, As JW would say we are constantly looking to expand the Empire("Resistance is Futile") Be care ful of those mortars, remember, you only have to win the lottery once to consider it a success. keep your
head down (and the rest of your extremities as well)

That has got to be the funniest post I have read in a while. After a day like this, you should get a week off. Good luck over there. Hey, I was going to see if you could bring me back a piece of a mortar shell. Is that likely to happen? lol.

Very interesting. I guess we know how they get nominees for the Darwin awards …

Sounds like you are surviving your “time” with fortitude and humor. Take care, Dr. F

What strikes me funniest is that you overslept during a mortar attack with loudspeaker announcements every five minutes and a warning siren.

I guess you got over your sleep disorder, or found some beer…

Stay away from the duds. All of them…

Oh yeah, Jeff. I didn’t finish my journey in to lovely Camp Anaconda (sounds like a horror film, huh?). Today I shall get us up to speed a bit.

Hey, PD…I admire your “country girl” take on the bug at first, but was laughing so hard I cried when you found it in the “drawers!” Keep writing, dear cousin.
