No, that sounds like a flaw in the refrigerator’s design. Annoying appliances should be designed to withstand the abuse of their owners.

Dave, I need these “fits” to hit from time to time. I count on them, really. The rest of my life is so structured that I refuse to schedule housecleaning/yard upkeep chores. But they have to be done at some point, and I’m too cheap to hire someone to come do it for me. ;)

I didn’t dump any freon, so you don’t have to call out the SWAT team. I did, however, have to chop a couple of copper lines that made a pssssssssssssss sound. Is that still five to ten in the clink?

Been there, done that. I’m usually glad when the fit passes and I can go back to being normal.

When you dismantled that refrigerator, you didn’t dump the Freon charge out of it, did you? I believe that’s a federal offense.
